my art represents the promise of light in darkness. it represents the power of the human brain and soul to think, understand, and see through the maze. it shouts of simplicity, it whispers of complexity, it speaks of experiences and abilities. above all, my work represents you and me.
i recieved a degree in studio art and art history from the university of north carolina, asheville in 2006. i wrote and published a thesis about graffiti campaigns that took place in chile during the 1970's and questioned the placement of graffiti in the history of art.
i live and dwell in chicago illinois. my current studies include design and craft theory. i recently completed a commission of 25 identical hand bound books. i continue to produce art in my studio, stay informed about new art histories, and enjoy the moments of beauty that surround.
