interconnectivity is a project that began at the end of 2007. it began with one sheet of paper that was then torn apart into separate pieces. i then used the pieces as pages of a book, and wrote a poem. afterward i drew a little drawing on each page. next, i used a needle and thread to bind the pages back together.

the final stage of the process was to cut to cut the thread that was holding each of the pages next to one another.

in the most recent stage of interconnectivity, i mailed out the pieces to 18 friends. i asked each person to take a photo of the drawing in their environment.

this project is about the small threads that hold us together and then tear us apart, and how our connections are realized in very cyclical nature.
